Kijkduin public transport stop – terminus for bus 24 and bus 26
Buses 24 and 26 provide a convenient link between The Hague Central Station, Hollands Spoor Station and Kijkduin. These buses take you from the stations to Kijkduin in 30 minutes, with the beach and the promenade within walking distance.
Kijkduin – intimate and laid-back
From the terminus of bus routes 24 and 26, it’s an easy walk to the Kijkduin promenade. Stroll along the beach or pop into a restaurant or beach bar for a bite to eat and a drink with a sea view. Nature lovers will also be in their element here: from Kijkduin, you can easily walk or cycle straight into the dunes towards Westduinpark or the remarkable Zandmotor. If you’re visiting with children, a trip to Ome Jan’s Jutterskeet is great fun, whilst sports enthusiasts can walk, cycle and kitesurf on and around the beach. The Hemels Gewelf and the Atlantikwall Museum are also special places to discover during a visit to Kijkduin.
