Visited the market for years when I am in The Hague. Great place to find little treasures around. Excellent place to buy fresh goods like veggies, fruits, meats, cheeses and fish. One get there the most amazing fresh flowers for a small price. If you ever visit The Hague go there you won't be disappointed. Check out the dates when they open.

Best market from Den Haag, famous everywhere as one (or the one) biggest open markets from Europe. They have literally everything you can think of. Vegetables and fruits, meat, fish, fast food, clothes, toys, shoes and kitchen supplies. Most of the stuff they sell have good quality and the prices are very low. More than worth to pay a visit.

Good place for buying vegetables at better prices. Other goods are of inferior quality. Open on alternate days. Saturday is when it's at its peak. Also crowded. Easily accessible by tram.

I call it the food paradise. If you are looking for a bargain for vegetables, real diverse foods. Then this is the place to be I would advice going early in the morning and learn how to bargain. Love it!

Enjoyed my solo visit to the Haagse Markt lots. It's very much catered to the local community but worth a visit if one has time. Lots of fresh produce, fruits, seafood, meats, flowers and not forgetting cheap clothing and household goods. You can also find some stores selling local delicacies like kibbeling, broodjes, stroopwafels and others
