Festivals

Musicon organizes two annual festivals that play an important role in the Hague music scene: Kaderock and the Summertime Festival. Kaderock takes place in and around Musicon and has been held since 1996. This pop festival originated in the streets that are the cradle of the famous Hague beat culture. Kaderock is more than just a festival; it is a celebration of the city’s rich musical history and is part of the intangible heritage of the Netherlands. It offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience the past, present, and the future of pop city number 1 and enjoy a diverse lineup of artists.

Summertimefestival  at the Grote Markt in The Hague brings together the most prominent jazz, world, and roots-pop musicians from the city for three days of music and dance. This festival reflects the diverse community of musicians in The Hague, with a varied program of styles and cultures, performed by both living legends and emerging talents.

Accessibility
Musicon is located in the southwest of The Hague, near Zuiderpark, and is easily accessible by public transport. From The Hague Central, trams 4 and 6 will quickly take you to Soestdijksekade, with the Monnickendamplein tram stop being the closest. For visitors arriving by car, there are ample parking spaces in the lot behind the building.
