De Gagelhoeve City Farm is located in the Segbroek district of The Hague. The stable was built in 1977 and since then a nature playground, vegetable garden and herb garden have been added. Obviously, it would not be a farm without animals and De Gagelhoeve has enough of them. Sheep, goats, different kinds of chickens, ducks, a rabbit, guinea pigs, cows and a miniature pig all call this city farm home. There are two animal meadows, one of which is open to visitors nearly all year round.
Directions
De Gagelhoeve is easy to reach by public transport. Bus 21 stops three minutes' walk from the city farm. If you are coming from the city centre, trams 2 and 3 are an option. The farm is located right between both stops. For cars there is free parking in the streets around De Gagelhoeve until 18.00.
