A master of stones

Belgian artist and comedian Dirk Denoyelle built more than 150 works of art with a total of over 2 million LEGO bricks. Think of a ceiling mural of no less than 200,000 bricks and portraits of well-known figures such as Mr Bean, Michael Jackson, Hagrid and Ed Sheeran. Each work of art is full of details, technique and a wink. Dirk knows better than anyone how to combine humour, craftsmanship and creativity. You might recognise him from his role as guest judge in the TV programme LEGO Masters.

Get started in the PlayZone

Besides watching, you also get to work yourself. In the PlayZone, children and adults can build their own creations with the famous blocks. There is a free treasure hunt for children and via the audio guide, Dirk himself tells you more about his works of art.

How do you get to the Westfield Mall Of The Netherlands?

Westfield Mall of the Netherlands is easy to reach by public transport. For example, tram 2, 6 and 19 stop right in front of the door the same goes for bus 46. If you come by bike, you can easily park your bike in front of most entrances to the Mall. Coming by car? Then you can go to one of the car parks. Thanks to the good connections, a visit to Westfield Mall of the Netherlands can be perfectly combined with a day out in The Hague, or vice versa: first shop, then get a breath of fresh air at the beach!
