On Saturday 26 September 2026, FAT AIR returns to Scheveningen: the BIG AIR contest at beach club The Fat, with a day full of cycling action, family fun and spectacular stunts.

Pumptrack for young and old
During the day, there will be a mobile pumptrack on the promenade. Here, children, young people and adults will have the chance to ride their first laps or learn new skills. The workshops are free of charge and suitable for all ages. This sporty initiative offers residents and visitors of Scheveningen an active and accessible way to get acquainted with pumptrack cycling.
What else can you expect?
A spectacular freestyle BMX competition will take place in the afternoon and evening. A specially built jump and landing set-up on the beach provides the backdrop for the Best Trick competition. Here, experienced BMX and dirtbike riders from the Netherlands will show off their best tricks and highest jumps.
Visitors can expect top-class sport and entertainment in one: with somersaults and creative stunts against the backdrop of the setting sun. Light, sound and an energetic atmosphere will frame the competition.
After the sporting part, the event moves to The Fat beach bar. There, the awards ceremony will take place and the evening programme will start. Visitors can enjoy live music, DJ acts and a festive finale by the sea.
