The Hague Vocal Ensemble - Un Soir de Neige
Music
The Hague Vocal Ensemble presents Un Soir de Neige: an atmospheric a cappella concert filled with winter and Christmas sounds. This special programme brings together classical music, international Christmas carols and two iconic works by Francis Poulenc. An evening that lovers of choral music and classical singing will not want to miss.
A unique winter and Christmas programme
Following its successful debut in December 2024, The Hague Vocal Ensemble returns with a revamped version of Un Soir de Neige. The programme consists entirely of a cappella works and has been expanded with several new pieces.
The focus is on two masterpieces by Poulenc:
- Un soir de neige
- Quatre Motets pour le temps de Noël
These pieces are complemented by a wide selection of Christmas songs and carols from different countries. This creates a rich and varied programme that is perfect for the winter months.
