Snow & Glow Festival
12 Dec - 14 Dec
Festivals
For three days, Prins Hendrikplein will be transformed into a winter wonderland of snow, light and music. On 12, 13 and 14 December, the square will be bursting at the seams with cold outdoor fun and warm conviviality during the first edition of the Snow & Glow Festival.
Winter fun in The Hague
Real snow flutters across the square, a twenty-metre SnowRamp provides non-stop action and children scream with delight on their sledges. Mulled wine warms cold hands, while an outdoor sauna and steaming jacuzzi offer an unexpected warm contrast to the crisp December air. Meanwhile, music rocks the entire Zeeheldenkwartier until 10.30 p.m.
Winter fair during the day
During the day, the site feels like a cheerful winter fair. Kids race down the slope, the WonderWijfies create cheerful chaos and Brian plays live guitar requests as if it were effortless.
Glow atmosphere in the evening
As soon as night falls, the festival takes on a warm glow. DJs, live bands, cold drinks and light winter chaos make Prins Hendrikplein an atmospheric meeting place. Exactly as a winter party in the Zeeheldenkwartier should be.
Bring your own sledge? You may. A towel, swimming trunks or bikini for the sauna and jacuzzi? Recommended.
A large part of the site is covered, so winter weather won't spoil the fun.
