Tools of the Trade: Manual Act of Speculating

The exhibition focuses on the making of tools. The participating artists – Rising Lai, Gabriela Acha, Latisha Tanisha & Kathy Murillo and Miro Nuaki Nieuwenhuis – explore how tools influence the way people think and act.

Here, tools are seen not only as practical aids, but also as a means of exploring new ideas. By designing and modifying tools, the artists demonstrate how different ways of seeing and working can emerge.

The exhibition invites visitors to actively reflect on their own surroundings. What resources are needed in this day and age? And what happens if you rethink them?
