Sutton High School and Brighton Girls Choir in concert
Brighton Girls and Sutton High School are both part of the Girls’ Day School Trust, a network of independent girls’ schools in the United Kingdom. The schools regularly collaborate and have previously organised concert tours to destinations including Valencia and Lake Garda.
During these trips, the choirs performed at venues such as the cathedrals of Barcelona and Ghent, and at the Menin Gate in Ypres. As well as performing at school, the pupils also take part in larger-scale music projects. For example, they recently sang in Mozart’s Coronation Mass, accompanied by the London Mozart Players at Fairfields Hall in London.
The concert in The Hague features a programme of choral music from various stylistic periods, performed by young singers with international stage experience.
