BlowUp Jubilee
22 May - 21 Jun
From 22 May to 21 June 2026, The Hague city centre will once again be transformed into a dynamic open-air museum with BlowUp Jubilee – a high-profile anniversary edition of the much-loved BlowUp Art exhibition. This special edition celebrates the fifth anniversary of the iconic inflatable artworks and, for the first time, brings together all the highlights from recent years in one grand visual spectacle.
The concept: art that embraces air and space
BlowUp Jubilee is a unique open-air exhibition where air, colour and design take centre stage. Throughout the Museum Quarter—particularly around Lange Voorhout and the Hofvijver—playful and monumental artworks demonstrate how art can engage with scale, lightness and unexpected forms.
The installations, created by both national and international artists, range from whimsical to strikingly monumental.
A look back and ahead
This anniversary edition marks a significant milestone: all iconic BlowUp works from the past five years return, offering visitors a comprehensive overview of the evolution of this popular art project. Previous editions of BlowUp Art attracted thousands of visitors and generated substantial international media attention.
With BlowUp Jubilee, the organisers build on this success by presenting monumental artworks directly within the public realm—freely accessible to visitors of all ages.
