From 2 to 7 July, the annual Final Exhibition of the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague (KABK) will open its doors. Here, more than 220 graduating art and design students will present their unique stories, each with their own voice and journey. After years of study, experimentation and growth, they are concluding their time at the academy and taking their first step towards a future full of possibilities. Come and listen, look and be surprised.

What can you expect?

The Final Exhibition marks the culmination and conclusion of years of artistic research, collaboration and personal growth. Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD students present their work as a lens through which to view the world around them. Through their creations, they reflect on social and philosophical themes, each in their own unique way.

During your visit to the exhibition, you will walk through the impressive corridors of our historic building. You are sure to come across something that moves you: whether it be painting, installations, performances, photography, animation, fashion, textiles or one of the many other disciplines. Let yourself be amazed and astonished by the diversity of craftsmanship and innovation.

The works on display during the Final Exhibition are often acquired or exhibited by prestigious museums or galleries such as the Rijksmuseum, Museum Voorlinden, Kunstmuseum Den Haag, Nederlands Fotomuseum, Museum Beelden aan Zee, Stroom Den Haag and Galerie Ron Mandos.
