The Royal Academy of Art (Koninklijke Academie van Beeldende Kunsten / KABK) is the Fine Arts & Design Faculty of the University of the Arts The Hague. It offers bachelor, master, preparatory courses in Fine Arts & Design and a Double Degree and PhD programme in collaboration with Leiden University.

About 1,000 students currently study at the KABK, with approximately 50% of the student body representing international students. The students are offered studios, multiple material shops, professionally equipped workplaces and free internet.
The KABK has around 200 teachers, all of whom have an active professional career as an artist, designer or other professional in the field of art and design.

University of the Arts, The Hague
The Royal Academy of Art and the Royal Conservatoire were fused into the Academy of Fine Arts, Music and Dance in 1990. Since 2010 the new name is the University of the Arts, The Hague.















The Royal Academy of Art in The Hague offers bachelor and master courses as well as preparatory courses. It is possible to do a PhD in the arts via Leiden University. The Royal Academy of Art prepare the students for the professional field.

Choosing for the Royal Academy of Art (KABK) means choosing for a future in the world of art and culture. The KABK is a fascinating and inspiring community of upcoming artists and designers. The Royal Academy of Art and the Royal Conservatoire merged into the Academy of Fine Arts, Music and Dance at January 1 1990. The new name is the University of the Arts, The Hague.
