ECAED + Child Therapist + DJ Dragnet
Music in The Hague: ECAED presents her new album 'Metalloid' live at Musicon. Together with support act Child Therapist and DJ Dragnet, this promises an evening of gothic indie, post-punk and bass-heavy soundscapes.
ECAED is a solo project in which the artist handles the entire creative process herself: songwriting, vocals, instrumentation, mixing and production. Bass guitar, analogue and digital synthesizers, self-made samples and rock-inspired guitar recordings form the backbone of her sound. 'Metalloid' is the spiritual successor to 'Binary Shards', pushing the bass-heavy approach further with metallic textures and distorted sound design. The themes centre on human experiences with rough edges: interpersonal relationships, discomfort and everything in between.
ECAED and Child Therapist live at Musicon in The Hague
For the album release, ECAED performs a one-hour set that includes four tracks not yet released. Support act Child Therapist brings absurdist humour and plenty of energy to the stage. DJ Dragnet then closes out the evening. Doors open at 19:30, the programme starts at 20:15 and runs until 22:30.
