Social Dance: Dancehague

Dance takes centre stage at Dancehague on the Kunstenplein at Amare in The Hague. This monthly social dance evening falls under the category of Dance and is open to everyone, from absolute beginners to experienced dancers.
Dancehague was founded on one clear idea: movement brings people together. Every month a different dance style takes the spotlight, from latin and kizomba to west coast swing. Which style and which guest dance school are featured this edition can be found in advance on the Dancehague website.
The evening follows a set format. Between 19:00 and 20:00 there is a beginners workshop that ties in with the style of the night. No prior experience or dance partner is needed. After that, the social dance runs until 23:00. Experienced dancers are of course equally welcome.
Dancehague at the Kunstenplein in Amare
The evenings take place on the Kunstenplein, the public space inside Amare. This stage is part of Open Amare, which is free to enter every day and hosts dance, music and other creative events. Dancehague's social dance fits right in: accessible, lively and open to all.
