Oud IJzer: A Knight Under Maria's Altar + To No Avail + Digigore
On 4 December, Oud IJzer (Old Iron) brings a night of metal to Musicon in The Hague, featuring live performances by A Knight Under Maria's Altar and To No Avail, followed by a DJ set from Digigore.
Noise, energy and a night that stretches well past midnight: that is the promise of Oud Ijzer. Two live bands open the programme before the evening shifts into electronic beats. Doors open at 19:30, so getting there early pays off.
To No Avail in The Hague
To No Avail from The Hague describe themselves as rising from the ashes of ICARIUS. The band features a female vocalist alongside experienced live musicians. Their signature sound blends modern metal, epic themes and powerful guitar solos. Known for raw, direct energy on stage, they bring that same intensity to Musicon.
A Knight Under Maria's Altar
A Knight Under Maria's Altar opens the night. They headline the Oud Ijzer bill and top the line-up for the evening.
Digigore closes out the night at Musicon
After the live acts, Digigore step up for the DJ closing set. Dennis Kuiper and Wesley Brizee launched Digigore after years of involvement in various bands and projects, combining breakdowns, electronics, groove and speed into one cohesive sound. With a debut EP already out and new tracks in the works, Oud Ijzer is a chance to hear where they are heading next.
