On 24 January 2027, White Room Review presents a new edition of Loud & Heavy at Musicon in The Hague. Miasmes, Asgrauw and Bokkerijders bring an afternoon of black metal.

White Room Review is known for focused, no-frills live shows, and this edition of Loud & Heavy is no different. The programme starts early in the afternoon and runs through to the evening, making it a well-structured alternative to the typical weekend night out. Three bands, three distinct takes on black metal, one venue.

Miasmes - black as punk

French band Miasmes has played Loud & Heavy at Musicon before, and they return with a strong album in tow. Violence, Blasphème et Pourriture, released in September 2026, shows how the band merges punk and black metal into something raw and unfiltered. The energy they generate live is closer to Motörhead than to the atmospheric end of the genre. Expect noise with attitude.

Asgrauw and Bokkerijders at Musicon in The Hague

Asgrauw proves that you don't have to look outside the Netherlands for quality black metal. With the album Solips, the band has material that holds its own against international output, which gives their set extra weight. Bokkerijders rounds out the line-up as the third piece of an evening that stays firmly in dark territory from start to finish.
