From Friday 18 to Sunday 20 December, Kijkduin will be all about the Winter Games. For three days, the seaside resort will be transformed into a charming winter meeting place full of sport, games and fun. Spread across four venues, there’ll be all sorts of winter activities for young and old alike. Lace up your skates, challenge friends or family to a game of curling and enjoy the cosy winter atmosphere by the sea.
Three days of winter fun by the sea
At the Winter Games in Kijkduin, it’s all about having fun together. Strap on your skates for a spin around the ice rink, test your precision at Christmas Curling, or take part in challenging winter games. On the winter square, you can try your hand at log sawing, nail hammering and icicle hanging, amongst other activities.
There are plenty of fun activities for children too. Get creative at the craft table or bake a roll together over the fire. Whether you’re keen to get involved or simply want to soak up the cosy atmosphere, the Winter Games offer winter fun for the whole family.

As well as all the sporting activities, there’s plenty of opportunity to relax and enjoy yourself. Take a seat at one of the cosy pop-up terraces or visit the wooden Christmas chalets for hot chocolate, mulled wine and other winter treats.
