Located on the Strandweg along the beach of Scheveningen, you can find a Hub to park your partial transport.

What is a Hub?

Hubs (also known as neighbourhood mobility hubs) are on-street parking spaces specifically for shared bicycles (shared bicycles, shared bin bikes or shared scooters). They can be recognised by a sign with the word HUB. The hubs are close to the coast so that you can take your Donkey Republic bikeCheck. scooter or Felyx to the beach or boulevard quickly and hassle-free.

Which hub has space at Scheveningen and Kijkduin?

The hubs have different sizes. In places where most visitors come, the hubs are made as large as possible. When a hub is full, it shows in the app of the provider where your two-wheeler is booked. You can also find free hubs in the app. From time to time, as an extra service, parking coaches are present to direct you to another location or to an “overflow location”. Overflow locations are places used on busy days, when the “normal” hubs are full.

Should I always put my partial transport in a Hub?

Yes, it is forbidden to park the two-wheeler outside the hub. Consequently, users of a shared scooter or shared (cargo) bike always start and end their ride at the hub. Do it anyway? You pay the bill to the provider. The spaces in a HUB give you plenty of room to park and keep the pavements free.

Is there space available in the HUB on Strandweg 1?

Whether there is a free spot at the Strandweg 1 on Scheveningen you will see in the app of the provider where you booked the shared transport. This can vary from minute to minute. The providers in The Hague always make sure there are as many free places as possible.
