Meyendel

Perhaps the most beautiful route you run through dune area Meyendel; the largest continuous dune area of South Holland which stretches between Scheveningen, The Hague and Wassenaar. The alternation between the sloping dune terrain, the open sand plains and dense pine needle forests makes this a varied route. Especially for longer endurance runs, this nature reserve is highly recommended!

Westduinpark

The Westduin Park offers an unforgettable running experience for runners in The Hague. Not only because of the Scottish highlanders that roam freely here. Here you will find ideal terrain for hill training thanks to the high dune tops you encounter here. In the hilly dune terrain there is an extensive network of both hard and unpaved paths and open plains and dense forestation alternate.

Haagse Bosroute

Of course, you can't skip the Royal Tour of The Hague Forest either. The Royal Tour of the Haagse Bos is a wonderful run where you can explore the beautiful old park. You start not too far from the center and you can do a high five with the Dutch king (you pass his residence), ending not far from the Malieveld where the finish of the CPC run takes place.

The NN City Pier City Loop attracts tens of thousands of participants and visitors each year.

Scheveningse bosjes

If you are looking for a challenging route, you should definitely try the Scheveningse Bosjes route. This route takes you through the forest and through the dunes, where you have to climb several hills. It is a challenging route that will help you improve your fitness and strength.

Along the beach

With 11 kilometers of coast, you can of course choose to walk along the beach. Get a breath of fresh air while overlooking the sea. Not looking forward to a hard workout on the sand? Then take the unpaved bike path that runs all the way from Kijkduin to the corner of Holland.
