The menu offers a diverse selection, from pan-fried North Sea sole and classic French bouillabaisse to sushi and a trio of Dutch fish. In addition to seafood, there are meat dishes such as slow-cooked Asian ribs, grilled bavette, and classic steak tartare. Ambiance
AREIA, which means ‘sand’ in Portuguese, has a Mediterranean look and feel. Besides the sun-drenched terrace, there's a lively indoor area with high tables and a large bar where you can also dine. The restaurant exudes a cozy and relaxed atmosphere, enhanced by natural tones throughout the interior. The bar is finished with rope and marble, and the walls are decorated with rocks.

At AREIA, you can choose from over 450 wines by the bottle and around 50 wines by the glass daily. The list ranges from fresh, fruity wines to fuller, rounder flavors. Vigo Family
It all started in 2015 when Hans and his sons Cor and Jonathan opened a restaurant next to the fish shop in Gentsestraat. Thanks to their years of experience with fish, the time between catch and preparation is short. The family is their own supplier, which means fish caught in the morning is served the same evening. The Vigo Family also includes The Old Jazz, Vigo Seafoodbar, Vinostra Wine & Oysterbar, and Bistro Lemongrass.
