Zwarte Pad public transport stop – terminus for trams 1 and 9 and bus 23
Trams 1 and 9 and Bus 23 provide a good connection between The Hague Central Station, The Hague HS Station and The Hague Laan van Noi Station and Scheveningen beach. They take you from the stations to the beach in 20 to 30 minutes.
From the Zwarte Pad to the Scheveningen promenade
The Zwarte Pad terminus for tram 1, tram 9 and bus 23 is ideally situated for a visit to the northern part of Scheveningen. From the stop, it’s just a short walk to the Zwarte Pad and Noorderstrand, where you’ll find a variety of lively beach bars and beach clubs. This is a particularly popular spot in the summer for a relaxing day by the sea, a bite to eat and a drink, or a beach party.
From the Zwarte Pad, you can easily walk along the Noordboulevard towards De Pier and the Kurhaus. Along the way, you’ll find shops, kiosks, cafés and restaurants, and Foodhall Scheveningen. If you continue along the boulevard, you’ll also come across fun attractions for the whole family, such as LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Scheveningen and SEA LIFE Scheveningen.
