The one and only Carnivale is coming back to town, and this year it’s taking over the Malieveld. Four days of magic, enchantment and wonder. Come one, come all!
A unique circus in The Hague
Where else but The Hague would you find a circus like this? For four days, the Malieveld will be filled with magic, spectacle and wonder for all ages.
Marvel at fakir shows, a flea circus, the spectacular Wall of Death and the now legendary ‘Drown the Clown’. Or take a ride on the Ferris wheel and enjoy views across wintry The Hague. In the big top, sit down to good food at a fair price while burlesque dancers provide spectacular entertainment.
Extraordinary performers from the Netherlands and abroad showcase their skills and share their stories. The traditional sideshow comes back to life, with everything from curious acts to daring stunt performers. Carnivale is the place to get together with family, friends and fellow residents, be amazed, enjoy good food and drinks, and dance the night away on the Malieveld.
Advance ticket sales
Advance ticket sales have already started to help make Carnivale possible. By buying your ticket in advance, you’re directly contributing to bringing this extraordinary festival to life. For the city, by the city!
The more tickets sold in advance, the bigger Carnivale can be. And in the unlikely event that not enough tickets are sold for the festival to go ahead, you’ll simply get your money back. So there’s no risk, and at the same time you’re helping to make Carnivale happen.
Ticket prices
- Up to and including age 12: €5
- Ages 13–21: €25
- Ages 22–99: €36.50
The ticket price includes admission to the festival, attractions and entertainment. The Ferris wheel, swing ride, Wall of Death and Drown the Clown cost an additional €2 per attraction.
