Codarts Rotterdam – Lunch Concert

Codarts Rotterdam is one of the Netherlands' most respected arts universities, and its students regularly take their work beyond the classroom. At this lunch concert in Theater Ludens, they step onto the stage for an audience looking to take a break from the day. The programme varies by edition and can range from chamber music to solo pieces, from classical repertoire to contemporary works.

Lunch Concert at Theater Ludens

Theater Ludens is an intimate and versatile venue, hosting theatre, music and more. The lunch concerts fit perfectly with the theatre's atmosphere: close, personal and unpretentious. You don't need to be a seasoned concert-goer to appreciate what happens on stage. An hour of music in the afternoon, and your day instantly feels richer.

Rising Talent from Codarts Rotterdam

For Codarts students, performing outside the practice room is essential. They play for a real audience, in a real venue, with everything that comes with it. That makes these concerts lively and sometimes surprising. You may not know exactly what's on the programme in advance, but you can count on committed young musicians giving it their all.
