David Ellefson brings his Bass Warrior Tour to Musicon in The Hague on December 7, 2026. As the former bassist of Megadeth, he shaped the international metal scene for over forty years. During this concert he performs the full album Countdown To Extinction with his solo band, plus solo material and hard rock and metal favourites.
David Ellefson is one of the most defining bassists in the history of thrash metal. For more than forty years he was a driving force behind Megadeth, and his name remains inseparable from the genre. Beyond Megadeth, he has been active in bands including Avian, Temple of Brutality, Symphony in Red, F5 and Killing Machine.

The Bass Warrior Tour centres on a single defining moment: the full performance of Countdown To Extinction, Megadeth's iconic 1992 album. Under the musical direction of Andy Martongelli, Ellefson and his solo band play through the entire record from start to finish. The set is then expanded with highlights from his solo career, other original material and a selection of hard rock and metal classics that have inspired him throughout the years.
Bass Warrior Tour in The Hague
The Bass Warrior Tour launched in 2024 and has since grown into an annual celebration for European fans. Musicon in The Hague is on the 2026 route. Doors open at 19:30, the show starts at 20:00 and runs until approximately 23:00.
