Frans Leidelmeijer is one of the foremost experts on early twentieth-century styles: Nieuwe Kunst, the Amsterdam School, art deco, Nieuwe Bouwen and the Dutch-Indies architectural style. Together with filmmaker Bie Muusze, he guides viewers past buildings that embody this rich cross-pollination. Leidelmeijer is widely known as a regular expert on the television programme Tussen Kunst en Kitsch, where from 1990 to 2017 he helped people uncover the value of their objects.
