Child in colourful clothing looking at a patchwork dress during a children's theatre show

Theatre company De Betovering brings the show Ik wil geen nieuwe broek to the VrouwenBuurtLab in The Hague. Suitable for children aged 4 and up, the performance is followed by a hands-on workshop. The show takes place at Van Meursstraat 1 in the Laak neighbourhood.

Sky loves her trousers. Not just a little, but a lot. The problem is, they no longer fit. Mum is clear: time for something new. They go shopping, but nothing comes close to the old pair. Then Sky spots a woman in a gorgeous patchwork dress, and suddenly she has an idea that changes everything. It is a story about holding on and letting go, about creativity and a little bit of magic, told in a way that resonates with children from the age of 4.
