Pene Corrida
Cover band Pene Corrida brings a party-metal show, transforming well-known pop hits into full-on metal covers, brimming with energy and humour.
Pene Corrida has one clear mission: take a song everyone knows, give it a serious metal treatment and see what happens. The result? Pop melodies colliding with heavy riffs, a room full of people simultaneously singing along and headbanging. The band is known for their relentless on-stage energy and a set that never gets dull.
Pene Corrida's Anniversary Show at Musicon The Hague
This show marks the 10th anniversary of Volume Juan, their debut album. The tracks that made waves back then take centre stage again: from Let It Go and Freestyler to Captain Jack and Vamos a la Playa. Songs you'd normally hear in a very different setting, now served with a full metal edge. The atmosphere is festive, the execution is committed, and the whole thing is one big party-metal celebration in the spirit of their original 2016 show.
What to Expect
An evening of humour, recognition and plenty of sing-along moments. Pene Corrida alternates heavy riffs with the familiar melodies of songs you've known for years, and it works. The crowd sings along, the energy is high and there's plenty of room to move. Musicon is the ideal venue for this kind of show: intimate enough to really feel the band, big enough for a solid crowd.
