Raisa Mulder, roni(a), and Nomi Mulders - Lives in Colour
25 Jul - 2 Aug
Lives in Colour is a group exhibition exploring identity, connection and the freedom to be yourself. Featuring work by Raisa Mulder, roni(a) and Nomi Mulders, the exhibition offers a personal and multifaceted portrayal of experiences within the LGBTQIA+ community.
What can you expect?
The exhibition brings together drawings, documentary photography and spatial installations. Rather than the familiar rainbow symbolism, the artists have opted for a subtle visual language to explore themes such as intimacy, care, safety, vulnerability and belonging.
Each artist explores queer identity from their own perspective. Nomi Mulders explores emotions such as longing, loneliness and self-acceptance in figurative drawings. Raisa Mulder illustrates what safety and community mean by inviting LGBTQIA+ people to share their favourite places. roni(a) focuses on the body and explores how care, identity and physical experiences intersect from queer, trans and neurodivergent perspectives.
Together, the works form an exhibition exploring the ongoing development of identity, centring on care, connection, resilience and vulnerability.
