Rastaplas in the city presents: Fijahborn
Music | Fijahborn performs at Musicon in The Hague as part of RASTAPLAS IN THE CITY. The roots reggae band brings an evening of authentic reggae with influences from rock, funk, pop and jazz, complemented by DJ sets from DJ Ewa Sound before and after the concert.
Fijahborn was founded in 2014 by bandleader and frontman Cedric Martina (vocals) and Timo de Kok, alias Jahmo (bass). Built on an energetic and joyful approach, the band crafts a roots reggae sound that draws from a wide range of genres: rock, funk, pop, jazz and reggae all make an appearance. That distinctive style has taken them to some well-known stages.
