Sinterklaas at Kijkduin
Hurrah, Sinterklaas is coming back to Kijkduin! On Sunday 22 November, he’ll be paying a visit to the charming seaside resort, accompanied by his Pieten, just as he always does. It’s going to be a festive afternoon full of music, cheerful Pieten, fun activities and, of course, the chance to meet Sinterklaas himself!
Following his festive arrival in The Hague on 14 November, Sinterklaas will once again be making time this year to pay a visit to all the children in Kijkduin. And that’s bound to be a huge celebration!
A cheerful show featuring St Nicholas and his helpers
From 11.45 am to 1.00 pm, there’s a cheerful and interactive St Nicholas show on the programme. There’s just one little problem… St Nicholas is feeling a bit under the weather, and that threatens to throw a spanner in the works. Luckily, he can count on the help of all the children in Kijkduin! Will they manage to put everything back on track? You’ll find out during this festive show full of Sinterklaas songs, funny moments, dances and surprises.
Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to meet St Nicholas and his helpers, receive a present and have your photo taken with them.
The party continues throughout Kijkduin!
Once the stage programme is over, the party is far from over. From 1.00 pm onwards, there’s plenty to get stuck into at various locations across Kijkduin. Head out and discover the fun activities organised by local businesses, dance along to the mobile Piet band, be amazed by the Crazy Piet Team and feast your eyes on the spectacular circus Pieten. Cheerful Pieten will be popping up everywhere, and the festive atmosphere of Sinterklaas will be in full swing. So there’s every reason to have a lovely stroll, discover new spots and enjoy everything Kijkduin has to offer together.
