Tante Alie - Metal Yoga
At Musicon in The Hague, Tante Alie hosts a unique Metal Yoga workshop: a combination of Yin and Hatha yoga set to heavy metal tracks. No yoga experience required, just a willingness to be surprised by an unexpected mix of strength and relaxation.
Anyone who thinks relaxing requires silence hasn't tried Metal Yoga yet. Tante Alie turns up the volume and guides you through a session where heavy guitar riffs and deep breathing go hand in hand. The combination of Yin and Hatha yoga makes for a solid but accessible class: stretching muscles, releasing tension and recharging your energy, all to the sound of the best metal tracks.
Metal Yoga at Musicon The Hague
Musicon is exactly the kind of venue where surprising crossovers like this belong. Doors open at 2:30 PM, the session itself starts at 3:00 PM and runs until 4:00 PM. Wear your most comfortable clothes, a band shirt is absolutely encouraged, and bring a yoga mat if you have one. No mat? No problem, a few are available to borrow.
Who is Metal Yoga for?
The session is open to everyone: yoga beginners, devoted metalheads or simply the curious. No technical yoga knowledge required; an open mind is enough. Whether you show up for the music, the movement or the combination of both, Tante Alie welcomes you.
