YoungRubbi + Bring the Joints
At Musicon in The Hague, two acts take the stage on Saturday 26 September 2026 in their own distinct ways: rapper and producer YoungRubbi and live hip-hop band Bring the Joints. This concert promises an evening of energy, sharp lyrics and raw sound.
Ruben Steens, performing as YoungRubbi, combines trap and punk beats with Dutch-language lyrics that pull no punches. He writes, produces and directs all his work himself, from the music to the music videos. Themes like false freedom, capitalism and identity run through his tracks, always balanced with humour and self-reflection. Live, he is joined by a four-piece band that adds extra weight to the songs and turns the concert into an intense experience.
Bring the Joints in Musicon The Hague
Bring the Joints, founded in 2022, is a Dutch live hip-hop band that brings the genre back to its raw roots. Rapper and guitarist Ahih Jaihi and bassist Fr. form the core of a group that takes hip-hop seriously as a live format. Tight rhythms, sharp flows and strong ensemble playing make their shows direct and unpolished, in the best possible way.

Musicon has long been one of The Hague's go-to venues for alternative and forward-thinking music. This evening combines two acts that each push boundaries within the Dutch music scene in their own way. Doors open at 20:00, the show starts at 20:30 and wraps up around 23:00.
