Every Wednesday night, De Boterwaag on the Grote Markt transforms into a tropical dance floor full of salsa, merengue, bachata and more.
For years, Wednesday nights at De Boterwaag have echoed with the sounds of Latin rhythms and the joyful steps of dancers. Each week, a different DJ spins the finest salsa, bachata, merengue, zouk, cumbia, and other tropical styles to keep the dance floor moving.
Whether you're a seasoned dancer or just starting out, everyone is welcome from 10:00 PM. The vibe is warm, relaxed, and full of rhythm, the perfect midweek escape!
Salsa Workshop by La Bodeguita
If you’re (just) new to salsa and not quite confident in your dance moves yet, no worries! In collaboration with dance school La Bodeguita, you can now join a free salsa workshop every Wednesday from 9:00 – 10:00 PM. No registration needed, just come by and join the fun!
