Command bunker Widerstandsnest 318
The boat leavesSunday at 12h00 in the direction of Scheveningen. At the boarding point in Westbroekpark you will walk together to the museum.
The figurehead is the command bunker in the complex Widerstandsnest 318 (Verteidigungsstab Badhuisweg). Also accessible in this complex is a type 622 crew bunker. This crew bunker is furnished as an experience bunker in which, among other things, films are shown. There is also a toilet bunker on display. There are still original objects on display from the German, British, Canadian and American troops.
At 12h45 the tour starts with an English or Dutch speaking guide and if necessary people can also use the audio tour (German and French). After 1 hour you walk back towards the boat. On the way back they serve a nice cup of coffee or tea with a stroopwafel. For the children there is also a glass of lemonade. You will sail back to the pick-up point. That will be around 14h30.
