With its Gypsy Jazz concerts, Jazz Coffee & Wines returns to the roots of Gypsy jazz. Gypsy jazz originated in the 1930s in Paris within the Roma communities. It is a musical blend of French musette, American swing and gypsy music.
Gypsy Jazz fills the room with an energetic, cheerful and fast-swinging vibe. You won’t want to miss this fantastic live jazz event! The brilliant Gypsy jazz musicians Jaïr Stunt and Tessa Spaaij, both on guitar, have teamed up with friends from the jazz scene to form the fantastic Hot Club. With a series of six jazz concerts, they bring the swinging Gypsy Jazz of 1930s Paris to the historic centre of The Hague.

Extra Live Gypse Jazz event
On Sunday afternoon, 26 April 2026, there will be an extra live Gypsy Jazz event, from 4 pm to 6 pm. During this special afternoon, the brilliant Gypsy jazz guitarist Olli Soikkeli from New York City will be performing.
