Jimding in Café 't Hoekpandje
The Hague-based blues-roots trio Jimding will be playing live on Sunday 7 June at Café ’t Hoekpandje in the centre of The Hague. During the performance, the band will be joined by guest musician Konstantin Iliev on tenor saxophone and clarinet.
Blues, roots and rock ’n’ roll
Jimding performs original songs and covers of well-known blues and roots classics. The music ranges from laid-back ballads to raw rock ’n’ roll and rhythmic roots music.
The band consists of:
- Jim Wake – vocals, guitar and blues harmonica
- Nico Hart – bass
- John den Exter – percussion
Guest musician Konstantin Iliev adds saxophone and clarinet to the performance.

Jimding combines influences from blues, roots and country with original songs on themes such as love, loss, farewells and everyday life. The band also plays covers of songs by artists such as Muddy Waters, T-Bone Walker, The Rolling Stones and The Beatles.
