Latin Rhythm Mondays is a free summer initiative organised by the Alma Latina Cultura y Comunidad Foundation. The events focus on Latin American music, dance, movement and socialising.
Every Monday, there are free events and workshops where visitors can discover various Latin American dance styles and cultural traditions.
What can you expect from Latin Rhythm Mondays?
During the workshops, you’ll discover rhythms and dances such as merengue, salsa, bachata, cumbia and vallenato. The activities focus on music, movement and connection in an open and welcoming atmosphere.
The event brings together people from different backgrounds and offers an opportunity to experience Latin American culture in a relaxed setting.
Who can join the Latin Rhythm Mondays?
Everyone is welcome, from experienced dancers to those with no dance experience. The initiative is aimed at Latinos, non-Latinos and anyone who is curious about Latin American culture.
No experience is necessary. Curiosity, an open mind and a positive attitude are what matter most.
