Young band performing live on stage at Musicon during Battle of the Bands Winners Night

On the Winners Night of Battle of the Bands, Musicon showcases three young bands that earned their spot in the competition. This pop and rock concert in The Hague combines covers, original material and raw guitars in one evening.

Three bands, one night, and enough energy to shake Musicon to its foundations. Kings of Queen opens with the Queen repertoire that made the band: from Bohemian Rhapsody to Killer Queen and Somebody to Love. The seven-piece group grew out of a spontaneous idea during an open stage night in Voorburg and has since added two backing vocalists and a full-time drummer.

The Cherries and Withered Petals at Musicon in The Hague

The Cherries don't do covers. Founded at s'Gravendreef College, the band writes its own songs and took second place at Battle of the Bands Leidschendam-Voorburg with them. With an average age of 14, they sound remarkably mature. Withered Petals closes the night with alternative hard rock. The Hague-based band only formed at the start of 2026, but they're already making sure nobody overlooks them.
