Dutch Angle Collective - Hardcore Birthday Bash
On Sunday 18 October, Musicon in The Hague hosts the Hardcore Birthday Bash, organised by Dutch Angle Collective featuring six bands.
Dutch Angle Collective is celebrating its birthday with a statement: six bands, one small stage and no room for excuses. The Hardcore Birthday Bash is an unrelenting afternoon for anyone who likes their music heavy and direct. Expect crushing breakdowns, dissonant riffs and a mosh pit that shows no mercy.
The bands at the Hardcore Birthday Bash
The line-up is packed with bands that each bring their own flavour, but share the same raw energy. Inherited kicks things off with a blend of metal and the merciless drive of hardcore. Tigerknife follows with brutally dissonant riffs, serious grooves and lyrics that don't let up. Rotterdam's White Knuckle Grip throws hardcore, nu-metal, hip-hop and shoegaze into one unashamed mix. Angles Morts fuses death metal with hardcore, complete with blast beats and melodies that will make the hairs on your neck stand up. Backhoe Loader brings Twente-style slamming combined with beatdown force. Left to Love closes out the bill from Noord-Brabant, driven by a shared love of hardcore that ties their diverse backgrounds together.
Metal and Hardcore in The Hague at Musicon
Musicon is one of The Hague's go-to venues for this kind of show: a room with character, no frills and a stage where bands are right in your face. That makes the Hardcore Birthday Bash even more intense. Capacity is limited, so being on time isn't a suggestion – it's a must. The online ticket shop closes one hour before the show; door tickets are available after that, subject to availability.
