Petra de Vree and Rob van Doeselaar have followed similar life paths. Both have lived and worked on different continents and in different countries, each following their own path. Their paths crossed around 25 years ago, when they were both staying in Accra at the same time.

The influence of different cultures

For an artist, moving to another country means constantly seeking out new points of reference in their work. You push your own boundaries and learn to relate to other cultures, far removed from your Dutch roots.
