Paard venue

Nightlife at PAARD in The Hague: DJs Prosciutto and Me Buurmeisje play a sharp selection of guitar tracks at Paardcafé: Eddy Ate Dynamite, ranging from emo and indie to metal and pop rock.

Eddy Ate Dynamite takes its name from the English mnemonic used to remember the strings of a guitar. The night itself revolves entirely around that instrument, in all its forms: raw, melodic, over the top and everything in between. DJs Prosciutto and Me Buurmeisje alternate timeless classics with contemporary hits. Expect emo next to indie, pop rock next to metal, old favourites next to modern anthems.

Guitar tracks from emo to metal at PAARD The Hague

The setlist runs from Killing In The Name Of to Wonderwall, from Smells Like Teen Spirit to whatever is happening in the rock world right now. One common thread: six strings. The dance floor at Paardcafé is intimate enough to keep everyone close to the sound and large enough to move around properly. Doors open and music starts at 23:30. Air guitar strongly recommended. Free entry, 18+ only.
