Museum Night Kids
Museum Night Kids provides cultural entertainment for children between 3 and 12 years old. Sixteen museums and cultural institutions in The Hague will open their doors on Saturday, March 28 2026, between 5 PM and 9 PM. The Museum Night Kids offers a program full of special exhibitions and films, exciting treasure hunts and fun workshops, especially for children.
Program
Evening..... when it is dark outside, the doors of The Hague's museums open especially for young cultural night owls. There is a special programme full of cool activities. With one ticket, you can visit several locations in The Hague and Voorburg.
Binnenhof Renovation Information Centre
The Binnenhof is closed, but the gates are opening again at the Binnenhof Renovation Information Centre. Especially for you! Lions at the Binnenhof? And the oldest tennis court in the Netherlands? Yes, indeed! Take a dive into 800 years of history. Discover all the secrets of the Binnenhof during an exciting treasure hunt in the mysterious cellar. Of course, you can also build something yourself! Or have your photo taken as a member of parliament in the Ridderzaal. We will provide the hats, of course! As the icing on the cake, the yellow tower next to the Binnenhof will also be open especially for you. Climb this 28-metre-high viewpoint!
Transport
You can easily reach the museums and cultural institutions further away with the free shuttle service. A ride in one of the historic buses of the Hague Bus Museum is an experience in itself. The buses run between the center and the Kunstmuseum Den Haag, Nest and Voorburg.
