Vinostra is the sister venue of Vigo Seafoodbar, Bistro Lemongrass, Wine & Seafoodbar AREIA, and The Old Jazz. This intimate gem is also located on Aert van der Goesstraat and features a sun-drenched terrace in summer. Vinostra is open for both lunch and dinner!
Kitchen
Vinostra serves no fewer than eight types of oysters, sourced from France, Portugal, Ireland, and Zeeland. For the perfect pairing, there’s a carefully curated wine list featuring seven wines that match beautifully with the oysters. Not an oyster fan? No worries. Vinostra also offers a wide range of Spanish tapas, such as pan con tomate, pintxos, and pan con sardinas. What makes it extra special is the option to order tasting glasses or a carafe of wine, allowing every dish or oyster to be paired with its ideal wine.
Wines
With 35 wines by the glass from Spain, Portugal, France, and Luxembourg, there’s something for every wine lover. At Vinostra, you can enjoy a regular glass (14 cl), a bottle, a tasting glass (7 cl), or a carafe (37.5 cl) – perfect for discovering new pairings with every oyster or dish.
Vigo Family
It all started in 2015 when Hans and his sons Cor and Jonathan opened a restaurant next to their fish specialty shop in Gentsestraat. Thanks to their extensive experience, the time between catch and kitchen is incredibly short. Being their own supplier, the family ensures that fish caught in the morning is served that very evening. The Vigo Family also includes The Old Jazz, Vigo Seafoodbar, Wine & Seafoodbar AREIA, and Bistro Lemongrass.
