Jimmy Jemain: the man behind the myth

Jimmy Jemain launched his career as a Cliff Richard tribute artist in 1990, making his breakthrough on the popular British TV series 'Stars in their Eyes'. From there, he grew into an established name in the tribute world. In 2003, he reached a career high by playing the lead role in the West End production 'Cliff – The Musical', one of the most prestigious formats in British theatre. The resemblance to the original is striking: in voice, movement and stage presence, Jemain consistently manages to surprise audiences. Even Cliff Richard himself was not immune, famously calling the act 'a bit too good'.
