Nirvana tribute band Bleach performs at Musicon in The Hague. The band from Breda has been bringing the energy and sound of one of the most influential grunge bands in history back to the stage for over a quarter of a century.
Bleach has been active since 1997 and has built a reputation as one of the most convincing Nirvana tributes in the Netherlands. The trio, Tim van Bokhoven on guitar and vocals, Jasper van der Hoeven on bass and Silvester van Rijckevorsel on drums and vocals, goes beyond simply covering songs. The band has studied countless live recordings to closely replicate the movements and stage presence of Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl. That dedication paid off: multiple live appearances on radio station 3FM and a win at the Kurt Cobain Reincarnation Contest.
