Clitteband performing an energetic punk set on stage

At Musicon in The Hague on 7 October, the rock concert Girlpower on Stage brings together two acts that have turned screaming, stomping and pushing back into an art form. Clitteband and Peanut Butter Goldfish share the stage for a night of post-punk and raw energy.

Clitteband is young, loud and unapologetically present. The Dutch punk band plays from a feminist and queer perspective, but never lets ideology drown out the music, because fun always comes first. Their sound is rooted in classic punk but feels fresh and contemporary. On stage things get raw: screaming, stomping, pushing back. The audience either joins in or gets out of the way, and that is exactly the point.

Peanut Butter Goldfish adds another dimension. The band channels pain, shame and euphoria into a post-punk sound that is both danceable and confrontational. Raw guitars clash with theatrical vocals while the drums hit hard. Every performance feels like a climax you did not see coming.

Girlpower on Stage at Musicon

Girlpower on Stage is the platform for acts that treat music as an act in itself. Two bands, two approaches to the same theme: connection through sound, intensity and presence. Musicon in The Hague is the perfect venue for evenings like this, intimate enough to keep the energy alive, large enough to give the stage room to breathe. Doors open at 20:00, show starts at 20:30.
