Cryptosis + Hallowed Fire – Metal at Musicon
On Saturday 24 October 2026, Musicon in The Hague hosts a metal-charged evening featuring two bands that each leave their own mark on the genre: extreme metal headliner Cryptosis and the ferocious Hallowed Fire as support.
Cryptosis has quickly built a reputation as one of the most distinctive extreme metal bands in the Netherlands. The trio refuses to conform to genre conventions, blending thrash, death and black metal with orchestral elements into something entirely their own. Their debut Bionic Swarm (2021) set the bar; follow-up Celestial Death, released in 2025 via Century Media Records, pushes it further. Sharper arrangements, a production that sounds both monumental and raw, and a compositional approach where every note earns its place. Live, the band channels that same intensity: not a show you walk away from easily.
Hallowed Fire opens the evening at Musicon
Before Cryptosis takes the stage, Hallowed Fire gets the crowd going. The five-piece thrash metal band has been around for nearly a decade and knows exactly how to wake up a room. Their very first show earned them a win in the Metal Battle 2017; since then, the band has channelled that energy into a live set that delivers every time. Getting there on time is worth it.
