Elephant

Elephant at De Zwarte Ruiter

Elephant is a four-piece indie rock band from Rotterdam that has performed at festivals including Lowlands and Pinkpop and toured Europe with Nada Surf. The band is known as the 'gentle giants' of Dutch indie rock.

Elephant's music

For their latest work, Elephant travelled to the famous Rockfield Studios. There, the band worked with producers who previously collaborated with Oasis and Nada Surf.

Elephant in The Hague: indie rock with a festival vibe

The band is known for a live show that matches their festival credentials: broad, energetic, and with enough nuance to impress beyond the big stages too. The nickname 'gentle giants' they've earned says it all: big in sound, but never heavy-handed. De Zwarte Ruiter is the place to experience that up close.
