Food & Music From Holland - Hakkûh & Prakkûh Edition
Culinary event Food & Music From Holland takes place on 30 September 2026 at Musicon in The Hague. This edition puts two quintessentially Dutch traditions centre stage: stamppot and gabber.
Every edition of Food & Music From Holland explores a different culture, but this time the focus stays close to home. The Hakkûh & Prakkûh edition turns the spotlight on something deeply embedded in Dutch cultural memory: gabber. It's not fancy, and that's entirely the point.
Stamppot and gabber at Musicon The Hague
The evening begins with a dinner rooted in classic Dutch kitchen traditions. The chef chops and mashes away, serving stamppot with both a vegetarian and a meat option. Dessert is a remixed vlaflip. Don't expect white tablecloths or delicate cutlery; the vibe is direct, homely and gloriously unpretentious.
C-Town Maniacs and OK SJON! on the dancefloor
From 19:30 onward, the room transforms from dining hall to dancefloor. C-Town Maniacs and OK SJON! spin everything from early hardcore to raw rave. Tables are pushed aside, plates make way for movement and the Air Max are finally allowed off the floor.
